Kindly send your resumes to *[email protected]** * Position: *Quality Control Project Manager - Austin, Texas * Location: *Austin**, Texas** * Duration: *11 Months* Rate: *Open* We are looking for *Quality Control Project Manager - Austin, Texas. *This is for an 11 months Contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The services of the Worker(s) will include, but are not limited to, the following: A. Plan and implement a new dedicated software testing/quality control group. B. Detailed software application test planning, develop test cases, test scripting, scheduling test cycles. C. Preparation of complex test documentation. D. Development of comprehensive system and performance test plans. E. Other duties as assigned. Plan and implement new dedicated software testing/quality control group. Manage QC implementation project. Perform highly advanced computer systems analysis work, including detailed software application test planning, developing test cases with the software architect and other staff, scheduling test cycles for projects, ensuring quality control by checking the software development life cycle (SDLC) requirements, reviewing data and test cases, and evaluating and selecting third party automated test tools. Responsible for the development, validation, execution and documentation of test plans and test scripts, including unit testing, comparison testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing. Work closely with business analysts, production control and operations, architects and development throughout the design and execution of test plans. Define quality control procedures in conjunction with organizational team leaders, and establish and maintain documentation controls for said procedures. Guide data collection and strategies for test platforms. Also perform supervisory or managerial work which includes supervising, training and mentoring dedicated testing staff, identifying relevant quality-related training needs, coordinating and prioritizing testing with portfolio management team, project analysts and program staff, budgeting and scheduling project testing, establishing application test coverage requirements, and ensuring regulatory compliance of applications. Schedule, monitor, and report test activities and progress to achieve planned deployment dates. Work under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Handle multiple projects and use team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills. Minimum Requirements: Years Skills/Experience 8 Managing and implementing projects using a software development life cycle (SDLC). 5 Managing test planning and execution. 5 Knowledge of testing principles, methodologies and automated test tools. 5 Knowledge and skill in test planning and execution.
