EXPERIENCE: .8-10 + years of Enterprise Unix/Linux experience. .Expert-level knowledge of Linux-based operating systems (RHEL, HP-UX, OEL preferred) .The Ability to create and read technical documentation and interpret System Architectural Designs. .Create and Read Unix Shell Scripts, Cronjobs. .Ability to understand Kernel Level Parameters and low level Unix System functionality .Understand the working concepts of Oracle Databases, including RAC and ASM. .Highly knowledgeable in Unix Clustering, including HP MC Serviceguard & Veritas Cluster .Experience in working with Enterprise Storage Arrays, understand Fiber Channel, & NFS. .Analyze & Interpret on technical performance & diagnostic metrics. The ability to user HP GlancePlus, Performance Advisor and OVPA & OVPM. .Configuration & knowledge of Sudo, SSH and Trusted Systems. .Understand the inner workings of LVM & Veritas File System .Configuration and Analysis of Multipathing Technologies. (HP 11.31 Native & SecurePath, Qlogic SAN Surfer, Linux Native Multipathing, EMC Powerpath) .Understand & Navigate Npars.
