Contract Duration: 1 year
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey

 Minimum Requirements:

Project Manager

MUST HAVE:

   - 1-3 years Experience with successfully running diverse cross-functional
   teams
   - *Recent implementation experience with SFDC (Salesforce.com) is
   REQUIRED*
   - Minimum of 1-3 years relevant technology and/or financial services
   experience
   - *Minimum of 1-3 years Project Management experience*
   - Solid problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
   - A working knowledge of the PLC
   - A working knowledge of the financial industry, as it relates to the
   brokerage, finance, and capital markets
   - Strong written and verbal communication skills required for
   interactions across organization
   - Ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities
   - Experience in facilitating team meetings
   - Experience in presenting to senior management
   - Experience in establishing project baselines and tracking to the
   established baselines
   - Experience in planning for and effectively managing project risks
   - Experience in issues management including identifying, tracking, and
   resolving/expediting with proactively
   - Experience in conducting ROI analysis for potential and existing
   Projects
   - Contract negotiation and management experience
   - Competent in the technical arena and understanding of system
   development, process improvement, and/or infrastructure
   - Proficient MS Project Management and MS Office

Preferred Skills:

   - PMP Preferred
   - Knowledge and experience in Agile methodology is a plus
   - Series 7, 63 or 24 is a plus

 Description:

Project Managers are responsible and accountable for shepherding projects
through the Project Lifecycle. They provide enterprise management for all
project related activities and are responsible and accountable for the
delivery of a project in accordance with business requirements and
established deadlines.

Enterprise Project Manager primarily provides Project Management for
small/medium projects, but may be called on to assume larger
projects/programs. Small projects are defined as effort requiring less than
1,000 hours of effort from technology resources and/or less than 50K in
capital expenditure. Medium projects are defined as effort requiring 1,000
to 4,000 hours of effort from technology resources and/or less than 250K in
capital expenditure.

Enterprise Project Managers may also be assigned to manage subordinate
projects within a program. Projects are defined as temporary endeavors
undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result. Programs are
defined as a group of related projects managed in a coordinated way to
obtain benefits and control not available from managing them individually.

Responsibilities:

   - Provide Project Management for small/medium projects
   - Provide expertise, communicate and implement Project Lifecycle support
   for:
      - Timeline management
      - Issue Resolution and escalation
      - Communications & status reporting
      - Knowledge
      - Vendor Management
      - Risk Management
      - Stakeholder Management
      - Resource Management
      - Deliverable Management
      - Scope Management
   - Interface with business owners to understand their needs and secure
   appropriate project buy-in/sign-off throughout Life Cycle
   - Ensure functional and technical solutions are accepted by sponsors
   prior to development
   - Ensure that projects are phased into the appropriate development cycle
   - Seek and review input from cross functional team and make final
   decisions regarding project scope
   - Identify, track, and resolve/escalate project issues and/or risks
   - Ensure project team members/business analysts follow PLC as defined by
   SPO
   - Conduct re-planning exercises to right derailed projects to get the
   project and it's efforts back in control
   - Maintain historical records for all projects and provide year-end
   reporting and reasons for success and failure of each project
   - Track progress and participate as necessary in business acceptance
   testing
   - Drive generation of complete business requirements document
   - Innovation: generate new ideas and/or new ways to implement the ideas
   - Manage and serve as the leader of XFT, influencing and directing team
   members to achieves goals of projects or program
   - Facilitate decision on final go/no-go decision
