Title: Jr. Visual studio designer Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 6 Months + Must Have Skills : Title: Visual Designer Skills: User-Centered Design, Visual Design, Graphic Design, Creative Design, User Experience Design Job description: • Must have hands-on experience and extensive knowledge of User-Centered Design (UCD) process and HCI principles • Self-motivated and be able to lead design teams to ensure the overall success of the projects • Work closely with functional teams across the organization to assess business needs, UI requirements and user interaction strategies • Lead collaborative design sessions, conduct user research interviews and present designs to business stakeholders during the development lifecycle • Create user task and interaction flows, site maps, wireframes and high-fidelity screen designs that promote ease of use and optimize the user experience for various products • Keep abreast of current methodologies, technologies and trends in the industry, including Web 2.0, social networking, e-commerce, etc. Position Requirements: • Must provide portfolio link • Bachelors or higher degree in Visual Communications / Information Design / Graphic Design preferred • At least 3 years of solid industry experience designing advanced user interfaces for web applications • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills working within cross-functional teams a must • Must possess a solid working experience with design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio, and Dreamweaver.
