*Rates: $45/hr – $47/hr* REPLY TO: [email protected] *Juniper Routers experience is a plus, but they should have Juniper Firewall experience.* • Provide technical support pre-sales support for TCO Network • Architect solutions to meet customer requirements while adhering to standards and best practices. • Provide technical and escalation support to the Implementation Engineers. • Weekend/Night Hours worked as needed • Perform technology refreshes for end-of-life managed customer network equipment. • Coordinate network tasks and interface with the project managers. • Maintain technical expertise and required industry certifications and stay current with new networking technologies. • Update Documentation Databases and Visio Diagrams Qualifications: • B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent skills developed through industry experience is required. • Troubleshooting WAN Circuits T1, T3 and Ethernet PTP Circuits • Extensive knowledge of routing protocols including BGP4, OSPF, RIP, GRE, RIP and knowledge of Internet concepts and routing architecture is required. Plus MPLS, VRF lite, MP BGP • Extensive knowledge of spanning tree and layer two switching concepts is required. • Extensive experience / troubleshooting with at least two of the following: Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco PIX/ASA firewalls, Netscreen/Juniper firewalls highly desired • Extensive experience of Cisco IOS is required. Plus Juniper JUNOS helpful • Working knowledge of load balancing technologies is a plus • Experience with Juniper routers is a plus • Extensive knowledge of data communication concepts and technologies is required. • Ability to learn and respond to demands in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. • Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities is required. • Ability to effectively work in a team environment, as well as, independently is required. • Good organizational, time management, and service delivery skills are required. • Effective written and oral communication skills are required. • Strong computer skills and proficiency in productivity tools are required.
