Position : 6 TELEPHONY BA's - must have telecom project experience. Location: Richmond, VA Length: 6 MONTHS to one year Rate: 40/hr The BSA’s will be part of the Channel Systems telephony team. They will meet with business partners to review business requirements. They will meet with developers to gather and document the level of effort on SSCR’s and projects. They will work as part of the project team to deploy telephony SSCR and project requests. They will be asked to work some evening hours and occasional weekends as part of new technology deployments. They will perform various other analytical tasks as needed to ensure successful completion of assigned SSCR’s and Projects *Skills needed: All BSA’s must have a proven track record of telephony project experience. Experience should include some combination of writing requirements for PBX, IVR, Call recording, reporting, and telephony infrastructure changes. Candidates must have exceptional oral and written communications and customer service skills.* Technology experience: In addition to those skills listed above, experience with telephony administrator tools is helpful (i.e. CC Pulse, CMS). Start ASAP; End: Initial six month contract with the intent to renew for up to one year, based on performance*. * * * Responsible for defining and managing the scope of Business Systems project(s). MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Defines functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system. Creates and performs feature testing and determines environmental needs. Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business. Partners with business, architecture and infrastructure and oversees all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction. In depth knowledge of tools utilized . Defines detail design components with high level architecture blueprints. Work with web and marketing teams to increase the presence of web products. Assists in the installation and implementation of web servers in systems planning and monitoring. Coordinates integration activities to ensure successful implementation. Ensures effective monitoring of systems. Defines development strategy, standards and support tools. Proactively works with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Requires BA/BS in computer science or information systems; 8 or more years of systems engineering or systems analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. BSA, Technical Testing and Tool specific certifications required. SKILLS: Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required. Excellent multitasking, leadership and managerial skills required.
