The devices have network communication capability and provides several network features like news paper delivery, store browsing, etc. This person is in charge of developing and maintaining these network features as service clients. Since we are developing devices, not only developing application on the middle ware, but also modification of middle ware is necessary. They need to catch up with current source codes quickly, work closely with a tight knit team of experienced developers and QA engineers to produce high quality software products on an aggressive schedule. *Required Skills/Experience:* - A minimum experience of 7 years in architecture, design and development of software system - Experience in developing Android device and deep understanding of android network software stack - Experience in developing Android network application - Substantial knowledge of Android network application in Google Market Place - Strong programming capabilities in Java - Strong programming capabilities in C++ - Strong Object Orientated Software Design skills - Substantial knowledge of HTTP protocol and XML - Expert in Web standard technology (Web API) - Have quick learning skills of existing source codes - Substantial knowledge of Linux environments - Hands-on coding skills and/or code review experience - Experience in developing mid – large size systems or applications - Experience of resource constrained / embedded systems programming - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated innovative, creative and critical thinking capabilities - Have sharp troubleshooting skills - Enjoy getting the job done - BS degree in computer science or equivalent *Desired Skills/Experience:* - Expert in networking concepts and a good understanding of how sockets and TCP/IP work - Substantial knowledge of SSL - Experience in developing software of 3G network or WiFi devices - Experience in developing cross-platform code - Good understanding of software development processes Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
