Title: Mobility Architect and Coordinator Location: Rochester Hills, MI Bill rate: $110/hr C2C or $95/hr W2 plus benefits to consultant This position will have extensive travel required and be part of a leading edge team to develop this critical practice area for TSNA. Strong contract to hire possibility Qualifications: - Advanced degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering - 6 years experience in handset development with mobile media player architecture experience - Knowledge and experience in mobile network protocols and programming in 2G and 3G environments - iOS, Android, Symbian, Blackberry or Windows Mobile expertise - Deep programming experience on multi-threaded, resource-constrained devices - Excellent architecture and design skills, including use of design patterns and UML - Knowledge of industry standards and protocols relevant to the mobile space, including DVB-H, OMA, and XML - Outstanding written and verbal communications skills - Self-starter - Ability to take on multiple tasks and roles - Defining the cross-platform mobile software architecture - Working with focused development teams to implement the solution - Coordinating worldwide allotted development teams - Leading and Mentoring the team and building mobile expertise - Working with the server-side architects, SAP/Sybase experts and product managers to ensure a cohesive end-to-end solution. The individual in this position is knowledgeable and has extensive experience in all aspects of IT system development life cycle. The individual is confident in developing requirements and design specifications. The individual in this position serves as a leader in the integration of solutions, designing systems within Mobility environments, developing new business opportunities, and building relationships with clients. This position also required that the individual work with the sales organization in pre-sales activities and to assist in the preparation of project proposals from a technical viewpoint. The individual is also responsible for technical prototyping of designed application architecture. The individual in this position should have the experience in all aspects of application development in the business world and extensive experience in all aspects of system integration and basic understanding of network system and hardware. Responsibilities * Analyze, define, and document technical requirements. * Architecting solution options according to high level analysis. * Review high-level architecture options with business and technical stakeholders and clients. * Define and document the final architecture. * Development of Work Effort and cost estimates. * Assist in post-implementation continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality * Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about systems.
