Send me your available consultants. *Position - SAP ORACLE DBA Location - Akron, OH* *Duration - 3 Months with possible extension * Part of enterprise Oracle DBA team, Interface with SAP Basis, UNIX (HP-UX)/ Linux team, Storage, backup and security teams. Administration, support, troubleshooting of all SAP-Oracle database components. Installation, upgrade, patching of SAP-Oracle databases Performance tuning of SAP Oracle databases (instance and memory settings as well as physical layout at the file system level) Design and implementation of SAP Systems in close partnership with the SAP-Basis and infrastructure hosting (all Oracle is hosted on HP Itanium) *Required Skills: * 3-5 years experience as Database Administrator in a large SAP shop using Oracle. * SAP BR*Tools for Oracle * SAP-Oracle performance tuning * SAP-Oracle installs, upgrades, patching * SAP-Oracle proactive monitoring * Oracle DBA skills - Oracle 10g required; 11 desirable * Oracle backup and recovery using RMAN * Oracle database administration in a UNIX environment * Excellent communication skills encompassing inter-personal communications, * * persuasion and influencing skills, communications in business terminology. * Ability to easily adapt in an ever changing environment.
