Our client has given us more specific feedback to assist
in our search. In addition to Informatica they need candidates with
strong *Teradata
experience as well.*
Here are the details:
Location: New London, CT
Length: 6 months (+ extension)
Rate:Market
Interview: F2F required
*Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:* includes but not limited to:
· Responsible for validation of all data warehouse feeds by
automated or manual procedures
· Responsible for RDBMS performance planning and tuning
· Responsible for the design and maintenance of technical
documentation including; data catalogues, structural diagrams, end user
warehouse assets including
· Provides Level III end user support and counseling for business
intelligence and decision support tools
· Produces reports using enterprise class reporting tools
· Documents data, views and reports
· Works with business and management to provide meaningful,
efficient and accurate reports
*Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:*
· Performs other duties as assigned
· Promotes ideology through a thorough understanding and
implementation of its core values and core purposes
· Promotes superior customer service
· Must be able to support applications that are running in a 7 X 24
X 365 enterprise environment
· Maintains accurate time reports for his or her activities
according to Information Systems policies
· Responsible for enforcing the privacy rules pursuant to the Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) as applicable
*Minimum Education and Qualifications:*
**
· Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or
related field, and two years experience analyzing, compiling, programming
and writing specifications in a business intelligence role for a large
organization (5,000+ employees)
· Demonstrated knowledge with one or more business intelligence
tools (e.g. Teradata, Unica, SAS, and Cognos) and ETL tools (e.g.
Informatica)
