Rate: Open+ Exp (Go up to 100/hr + exp) The SAP Master Data Consultant is responsible for the maintenance of the SAP IS Retail system, process design including integration touch points, configuration, requirements gathering, guiding custom development and technical direction. This resource will contribute to estimates and recommendations of how to leverage SAP functionality to meet core business process needs. Interfaces with and provides updates to the Process Integration Director on a day-to-day basis. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Participates with Business on SAP IT functionality demand to identify and prioritize SAP/ Business requirements and supporting business cases. • Perform design for approved large projects and small enhancements to existing projects. • Coordinate/collaborate with Architecture and Infrastructure Teams on best practices, design and environment setup. • Participate in defining the solution to meet requirements, quality of testing, ensures acceptance from clients, takes care of master data requirements, serves as subject matter expert and/or identifies appropriate SME’s from the business. • Define where in-house configuration knowledge is required. For those areas, performs detailed design/ configuration of required system components. • Follow and improve delivery to operation support methodology, provide Level 2 and 3-production support and identify root causes to issues. • Will be leveraged across multiple projects. • Works with resources to track value realization for respective process area. • Translates business requirements into detailed design specifications. • Partners with development resources to provide detail functional specifications for custom development and translates functional specifications into technical requirements. • Conducts design reviews and assists with the design and specification development. • Translates design specifications into testing components while managing component unit and integration testing and remediation of issues from testing phase. • Supports deployment. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS • 2-3 full lifecycle SAP implementation experience including global templates with an in-depth understanding of SAP integration and ASAP methodology required • Experience with SAP configuration and implementation experience of Master Data including: Article Hierarchy, Articles, Financial Accounts, Pricing & Promotion, Sites, Vendors, Customers, Merchandise Categories, Assortments, Organization Structures and knowledge of Enhancements for integration to legacy systems via Interfaces • Thorough knowledge of cross functional integration of Master Data and its importance to and impact on SAP ECC modules • Experience with SAP interfaces and troubleshooting various third party software interface issues with SAP • Experience in creating functional specifications for Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, and Enhancement objects and coordinating with technical team for the development of functionality • Experience in testing efforts during various integration, regression, and user acceptance testing • Ability to work in complex technical environment • Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities while maintaining the ability to work effectively in a changing environment • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Proven ability to lead groups, manage project deliverables, and maintain relationships • Ability to work in a team environment • Excellent communication skills • Functional experience in retail industry a plus -- Best Regards, Suman 678-248-2096 EXT 255 [email protected] IM: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
