Sr Oracle DBA/Developer (11g) with ETL experience (DataStage and Business
Objects).
*Qualifications*
• Oracle development experience - 8+ years
• Expert knowledge in Oracle 11g and above, in a Unix environment
• Must be comfortable with backup/restore, installing, updating, monitoring
and tuning multiple Oracle databases.
• Strong hands-on development experience working with Oracle SQL & PL / SQL
• Strong UNIX skills and shell scripting and ORACLE tools (sqlloader,
export, import)
• Strong documentation skills and be able and willing to document all
procedures
• Proficient in analyzing data to meet the business need
• Excellent analysis skills, able to interact with team members to derive
and interpret business needs
• Mature design, coding, testing and debugging skills
• Experience with offshore or offsite models a plus
• Adhere to Commercial Card IT coding standards, procedures, and techniques.
• Contribute to the technical code and design documentation.
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring quality solutions are built and
tested.
• Advanced tuning of PL/SQL
• Oracle Database Administration
• Current technologies include DataStage 8.x, Crystal Report 2008, Business
Objects XI R2 and Oracle Rack 11g.
