Detailed Info: be to develop and enhance Front Office Risk Management
applications used for trading and risk management of a variety of derivative
products. Participating in the design and development of trading and risk
management applications to support new business initiatives and increased
trading volumes. Implementation of bug-fixes and ongoing technical and
functional enhancements to the system. 2nd Line Support, investigation and
resolution of production issues.
Development/Computing Environment:
- 3 years - C# / .NET programming experience; WPF, Winforms.
- 3 years - Experience developing distributed, n-tier, multi-threaded,
asynchronous applications.
- 3 years - Experience with messaging middleware and distribution
technologies. 2 years - Relational database experience: SQL, stored
procedures, etc.
- Proven ability to work well in a front-office facing, high-pressure and
results-driven environment.
- Strong client focus.
- Strong team-building and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to communicate
effectively with IT colleagues, and business partners.
- Experience of delivering complex systems in a changing fast paced
environment.
- Working experience with source code and configuration management
policies and tools.
- Financial knowledge of derivative products, their valuation and the
generation of risk a plus..
Skills required for the position: C#, .NET, WPF, WINFORMS, MULTI-THREADING,
MESSAGING, MIDDLEWARE, SQL, STORED PROCEDURES, CONFIGURATION; DERIVATIVES,
RISK are optional.
