Responsibilities: The Web Portal Architect will be responsible for supporting all of the software components for a commercial web portal, developing new portal features, managing content updates, and keeping the various environments (development, test, stage, and production) in sync. The qualified candidate shall have demonstrated experience in multiple technologies including WebSphere, JBOSS, Apache, and content management systems (preferably Oracle/BEA Publisher). The candidate should also have development experience with JAVA, HTML/CSS, and Javascript. Database experience (Oracle and/or SQL) is a plus. Leadership/management experience is also a plus, as the Portal Architect may, at times when significant development changes are needed, lead a small team of developers to develop new features based on customer requirements.
