Project Manager - Information Delivery
Role Summary/Purpose
The primary goal of the Information Delivery team is to present data
from multiple sources in a single, easy to use reporting environment.
This Project manager is responsible for delivering on-time and
successful reporting projects. Candidates must possess global
communication skills with an emphasis in English/Indian languages.
Project Managers will work with the following primary teams: SAP,
Oracle, and Business Objects (BO). A strong Technical emphasis in SQL
and BO or other reporting tools
Essential Responsibilities
*Functional Specification Gathering
*Use Six-Sigma and DFSS processes to identify requirements and gaps.
*Translate requirements into functional specifications for project.
*Identify value proposition.
*Technical Specification Development
*Evaluate technical solutions to meet functional requirements
*Define Technical approach.
*Establish Design Specification
*Establish Development Lifecycle
*Provide estimated development costs/time
*Project Management
*Define Development resources and timeline
*Control project plan
*Manage progress of development team
*Manage and control change to reduce scope creep
*Monitor spends versus budget and progress.
*Knowledge of Business Objects reporting capabilities, Data Warehouse
architecture, Database structures and Data Integrator with multiple
source systems.
*Informing the project teams of any changes that could affect reporting
capability
*Develop/Maintain/Support reporting through BO
*Create/Maintain report update process
*Universe maintenance, support, tuning
*Implement and manage Report level security
*Effective interactions and providing leadership to GDC resources for
the confirmation, development and maintenance of entire Reporting
platform
Qualifications/Requirements
*8 - 10 years of IT Experience
*4 - 6 years of Business Intelligence Reporting software hands-on
experience,
*3 - 4 years of Project Management Experience.
*Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
*Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
*Strong SQL/Query skills
*Leadership, project management and prioritization skills
*High Energy, exudes customer passion and attention to request
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Desired Characteristics
*Experience using Six Sigma Methodologies to establish standards.
*Added advantage for experience in designing dashboards
*Benefits would be added to exposure to advanced analytic tools like SAP
BW, BOXI Xcelcius and Voyager tools
*Strong ERP knowledge and domain experience in any one:
Commercial/Finance/Supply Chain
Job Location : Bangalore/Hyderabad
