*To provide reliable cost-effective and secure enterprise wide support for
business critical applications and development. This includes the
establishment and measurement of service level metrics, the implementation
of databases on supported platforms, hardware, and operating systems
providing the CME Inc. and its membership with a cost effective and
competitive advantage. Proposes project plans and designs to ensure projects
are completed within time committed and budget and are integrated with other
administrative and support protocols. Creates logical and physical database
models/designs to meet the requirements of persistent data storage and
retrieval. Enforces database administration and support area polices,
standards, and procedures. Assumes responsibilities of other staff members
in their absence. Responsible for and mentoring non-senior DBA's. In
addition to work assignments, responsibilities include, database
installation, management, monitoring and communication. Researches products
and features and advises management concerning results of his research.
Works with professionals in other disciplines to implement and integrate
effective end user computer applications across multiple platforms (e.g.,
Clearing, Globex 2, EOS, CUBS II and Galaxc). Consults with business area
management regarding application alternatives, performance, security,
software usage, capacity planning, training, recovery and backup procedures.

This candidate will be responsible for working with the PeopleSoft team to
upgrade the PS Financials and PS HR systems from version 8.9 to version 9.1.
The appropriate candidate will have substantial PeopleSoft Financials and/or
HCM experience focused on technical development. The candidate should have a
background in modifying delivered processes and building new processes from
the ground up in PeopleTools using SQR, Application Engine, PeopleCode, and
Component Interfaces. Candidate will also be expected to participate in
testing process to support development efforts of teammates. Previous
PeopleSoft upgrade experience and experience working with PeopleTools 8.5 or
higher is a strong plus.

Candidates will be expected to have experience with multiple of the
following modules:
Finance (Expenses, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Purchasing,
eProcurement, eBill, Accounts Receivable, Billing, General Ledger)
HCM (HR, Position Management, eComp, eBenefits, eProfile, Benefits
Administration, Payroll Interface and Time & Labor) *
