Position (1) Title: Oracle Apps DBA Location: Indianapolis, Indiana Duration: Long Term Relevant Experience 6 to 7 yrs • Possesses hands-on knowledge and experience in following areas. ? Controlling and monitoring the user access to database. ? Creating database schemas, users and roles and granting valid privileges. ? Should have basic understanding of PL/SQL and capable of creating stored procedures, functions, triggers, materialized views etc. ? Performance Tuning of Databases, Oracle instances, and Applications. Finding Performance bottlenecks using OEM Grid Control, AWR, ADDM, STATSPACK, UTLBSTAT, UTLESTAT, ESTIMATE, ANALYSE, INDEXES, EXPLAINPLAN, SQLTRACE, and TKPROF. ? Generating SQL and PL/SQL scripts to create and drop database objects including tables, views, primary keys, indexes, constraints, packages, sequences, grants and synonyms. ? Planning and designing databases including designing local structures and forecasting further expansions. ? Schema cloning and Refreshing. Data loading and extracting using SQL loader, export/import and oracle Data pump Export (DPE) and Data Pump Import (DPI). Transporting tablespaces from one database/schema to another. ? Implementing database security policies and audits. ? Managing storage parameters and memory requirements of database objects. Position (2) Title: Oracle/SQL Server DA Location: Indianapolis, Indiana Duration: Long Term 6 to 7 yrs ? Strategize business requirements and reciprocate the same clearly to model the functionalities with clear-cut fulfillment of all constraints and conditions of the client . ? Understanding the data modeling concept and modeling tool techniques to interpret the Business requirements into conceptual data model and logical data models . ? Should have a mastery level skill on most of the data modeling tools like ERWIN, Oracle Designer, Sybase power designer and other modeling tools . ? Should have basic understanding of PL/SQL and capable of creating stored procedures, functions, triggers, materialized views etc. ? Generating SQL scripts for database objects from the modeling tools to create and drop database objects like tables, keys and constraints, relationships. ? Planning and designing databases including designing local structures and forecasting further expansions. ? Should have good application multi-tier architecture understanding as well as database architecture. ? Should have a good architectural handsome knowledge on oracle apps/ops DBA knowledge. ? Should have a good knowledge on data formats, data types, modeling client requirements. ? Implementing database designing and data modeling security policies and audits.
