Java Developer with Financial Industry Experience 12-18 Months Boston, MA Requires In-Person Interview after Telephonic Round!!! This requires a phone interview and a face to face interview. The person will also have to pass an extensive background check. The bolded items are what is absolute must haves for this contract. Required Skills: . Expert knowledge of Java 5 . Expert knowledge of Spring framework v2.5+ . Working knowledge of Spring Integration Framework, Spring Batch Framework, and/or Spring Security . Expert knowledge with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks, especially JPA . Expert knowledge of XML and related technologies, such as XSLT, XPATH etc. . Financial Domain experience and 8+ years developing in Java . Solid SQL ability with experience using Oracle 10g or later knowledge . Hands on experience with messaging using JMS and/or IBM MQSeries . Hands on experience with IBM Websphere server management and configuration . Hands on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and testing frameworks, such as JUnit, Mock Objects, Mockito, DBUnit, WicketTester, HTTPUnit or similar . Hands on experience with Maven and continuous integration . Proficient knowledge of Use Cases, Unified Modeling Language (UML), and core J2EE Design Patterns . Strong analytical skills in developing large scale and mission-critical complex systems . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. . Must be team-oriented as well as a self-starter. Must be able to work independently or with only general supervision and direction. Desired Skills: . Certification and advance expertise in Java technology is highly desirable . Working knowledge of UNIX or other operating systems . Working knowledge of connectivity software, such as Connect:Direct . Working knowledge of SOA, Integration Patterns, and/or Web Services technologies . Working knowledge of Wicket web framework . Experience with Subversion source control management . Experience with WebFOCUS reporting . Experience of using IBM Rational Application Developer/Architect or Eclipse IDE . Experience of using PKI with LDAP and other X.500 directory technologies .
