Title : Pega QA Specialist Location: New Jersy Duration: Long Term Roles and Responsibilities Role: QA specialist is responsible for administering tests, measuring results and finding problems/Bugs that occur in a system as soon as possible. They are also responsible for Creating Test Strategy, Test Plans and Test Cases documents. Execute test plans, Analyze results, report bugs (if caught any) update and report results. Follow the bug throughout its life cycle. Make sure that application meets all quality standards. Responsibilities: . Write Test Cases to cover all paths - Happy path, Alternate paths & Exception paths. . Automate Test Cases using Automation Tools. . Create Manual & Automated Test Plans . Strong knowledge in test automation using tools like WinRunner, QTP, TMF (Test Management Framework by Pega Systems) . Execution of Test Plan Manually . Execute Automated Test Plans using Tools like TMF (Test Management Framework) . Create Test Strategy document and get reviewed by Leads and Managers. . Must be flexible to quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes. . Knowledge of IT process improvement and various IT QA standards. . Knows to write and execute Database queries to validate results. . Perform tests, report anomalies, and track defects/Bugs if any . Good knowledge of Bug tracking tools eg: Clear Quest, Quality center etc. . Knowledge on testing Pega Applications and . Some insight of Pega tool will be added advantage.
