*Prefer Local to Columbus, Ohio* * * *Position : **Java C# .Net Developer*** *Location: Columbus, Ohio*** *Duration: 6 Months with Possible extension*** Rate Cap: MUST BE COMPETITIVE * *** * * *Duties and Responsibilities:* o Design, develop, test, implement and document enhancements to existing C# .NET/Java web application o Identify performance opportunities in the existing architecture and recommend improvements o Adhere to standards of application systems analysis, programming, and procedures and participate in code review process o Adhere to policies and procedures for modifying information systems o Coordinate with technology partners including internal associates and consultants * Required experience/skill set*: o 5-7 Years of application development experience dealing with large data volumes (60 – 80 million records) o 5 – 7 Experience with Oracle DBMS (query optimization and performance tuning) o 3 – 5 years of experience in Java design, coding, testing and debugging techniques o 3 – 5 years of experience in C# design, coding, testing and debugging techniques o 3 – 5 years of experience in ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> design, coding, testing and debugging techniques o Experience designing and implementing N-Tier applications using .NET o Experience creating and consuming web Services in .NET frameworks o Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts and design principles o Expertise in Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 with integrated source control solutions like VSS or Subversion o Experience using Netbeans with integrated source control solutions like VSS or Subversion o Ability to apply Object-Oriented design principles to create extensible, maintainable applications o Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills o Ability to adapt to change Preferred experience: o Application architecture experience dealing with large data volumes o Previous experience in Korn Shell scripting o Previous experience working with retail clients Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
