*Duties:*
As a services automation engineer, you will be heavily involved in the
technical/business analysis for the purpose of designing and running
itko/LISA automated and manual test scripts. In your automation efforts, you
will:
Be the gatekeeper of existing automated test cases for a line of business
Ensure that test scripts are up to date with current business changes Aid in
the selection of tests to be run for regression depending on the business
perspective Analyze results to determine the root cause of problems
Communicate script improvement needs to the automation team Request and
maintain and verify accuracy test data Analyze technical requirements
Design/Build/Execute/Fix itko/LISA test scripts Analyze regression test
errors to determine cause Verify correctness of system configuration and/or
build configuration Report status of regression testing to managers and team
Log and track defects in ClearQuest Test fixes submitted by development
Execute manual testing as required Manage test assets in ClearCase
Understand the functional specification and scope of projects Attend project
meetings
*Other Requirements*
Strong analytical skills and the ability to successfully multitask in an
interrupt driven environment. Experience testing internet-based applications
is required. Familiarity with the concepts and tools for defect tracking.
Demonstrated ability to function throughout the entire QA lifecycle, analyze
business and technical specifications and design test cases. Demonstrated
strong and clear written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated
ability to work with all project members, including representatives from
business and technical groups, in a collaborative environment. Familiarity
with the following tools and technology is a plus:
Quality Center
HTML/Java/JSP
Internet architectural components
Clear Case
Clear Quest
RUP
Financial/banking experience
