* **Here are some details on this role:*

·         Since one of our first tasks will be to convert all of our
existing Excel charts to Flex I will be asking questions around how one
would go about performing the conversion.

·         After that, all charts will run through a new Flex real time
charting repository with data stored in a central location.

·         The area we will use Excel for is a temporary data store to test
out Flex reports and an extraction/update location for central data.

·         Knowledge of Excel macros, pivot tables, formulas is a plus but
knowledge of Flex is a higher priority.

* **Required Skills*:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

The candidate must possess the following technical experience:

·         Minimum 5 years experience working in the US as a
programmer/analyst in a scientific or technical environment.

·         1-2 years experience with Flex 3 development, charting, and
refactoring.

·         Ability to create and present professional level charts and
graphs.

·         In-depth knowledge of SQL and a good understanding of relational
databases.

·         1-2 years experience with SQL Server 2005 database for complex
queries and analysis.

·         Strong experience with Excel.

·         Excellent communication skills.

·         Excellent data analysis skills; attention to detail a must.

·         Ability to independently identify and resolve data issues.

·         Experience with creating and using metrics to base key product
decisions.



*Desired Skills:*

·         Experience with Oracle SQL.

·         Experience with Internet Information Services (IIS).

·         Experience with SubVersion (SVN) for code management.

·         Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

·         Experience with C#/.NET is a plus.
