Location: *White Plains, NY* Duration: *1& half year +* *We are looking for someone with a strong background in informatica and pl/sql tuning.* Will work with data architects, business analysts, and project leads to understand requirements, develop ETL processes in support of those requirements, validate that they meet the required specifications, andensure that any ETL issues raised during the testing phase are addressed prior to production deployment. *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* Must be able to demonstrate top rate technical programming skills, particularly in the Informatica programming language. He/she should have significant experience building ETL systems/tools, managing dynamic ETL, and designing, maintaining and programming ETL interfaces to databases. Strong Database skills are a must for this position. *TECHNICAL/JOB-SPECIFIC COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS AND RELATED EXPERIENCE* The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities. Technical Requirements: • Strong Informatica administration/programming skills • Strong UNIX administration/programming skills • Pl/sql and SQL tuning • Warehouse Design • Oracle background Non-Technical Requirements: • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written a MUST. • Present ideas, expectations and information in a concise, well-organized way. • Manage time well, correctly prioritizing tasks. • Establish, measure and effectively evaluate processes, policies and procedures. Additional Requirements: • Experience in Travel or Hotel industry a plus. • Experience in CRM applications a plus. • Experience with Goldengate a plus QUALIFICATION STANDARDS Education College degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience is required. Experience 5+ years industry experience.
