Title: Problem Manager Location: Huston, TX Duration: Long Term Job Description: The ITIL Center of Excellence (COE) is an enabling service within E&P IT&S with the mission of embedding ITIL best practices in support operations. The Problem Manager will form part of the ITIL CoE team and be responsible for the strategic, tactical and operational management of the Problem Management process for E&P. Responsibilities: • Act as Process Owner for the Problem management process within E&P IT&S • Act as the SPOC within E&P for Problem Management for external interfaces • Ensure the implementation of reactive and proactive Problem Management processes within E&P • Be responsible for the process adherence, reporting and improvements per OI and E&P norms • Ensure that RCAs related to P1s and P2s are initiated and progressed per IT&S norms Qualifications: • ITIL V3 Foundation and relevant Practitioner’s certification • Knowledge and practice in Root Cause techniques such as Kepner-Tregoe, Pareto analysis, etc • Facilitation and problem investigation skills • 5+ years relevant work experience in Problem management • Experience in implementing effective PM policies and procedures Communication and training skills Best Regards, JEET IDC Technologies, Inc.
