Immediate Need - *Role : Senior C++, Perl, Java Technical Developer LEAD* Location: Seattle WA. Duration is 6-9 months starting ASAP Contract to hire is “Nice to Have” but not required *SUMMARY:* 10+ years of experience with technical design/architecture/Lead role. Must have excellent communication skills and lead experience with offshore development and be to speak and work with the business. *Ideally* they want someone who has been working inside a company in a lead role and not someone who comes from consulting background. Experience and Skill Requirements: 10+ years of experience with C++ 10+ years of experience with Java 10+ years of experience with Perl application development 10+ years of experience with Oracle db (database) 10+ years of experience with documenting requirements and creating other system documentation for enhancements, break/fix and mini-projects Knowledge of financial/accounting systems *IMPORTANT DETAILS:* The need calls for someone who is strong in C++, C, Perl, Linux, and Shell Scripts. This will be someone who knows the architecture of C++, so someone who might consider themselves an expert in this language. *This is a client* *facing lead role* and this person needs to be familiar with the on/offshore model and leading the team. They will be reviewing code being developed offshore and must be technically sound in all these languages. *For all interviews, candidates should be prepared to take notes during interview and answer VERY technical questions as part of the screening. This will involve specific coding questions. *The Amazon team has been shooting people down over very detailed technical questions so we need to be prepared! The interviews are very much a "sit with pencil and paper and write code examples" kind of setup. *We need to look for someone with a positive strong attitude*. The end client team is cocky.
