Title: Java Developer BOTHELL, WA Duration: 6 months (possible extension) Responsibilities: • Design and develop Java/ATG software components in a fast paced multidisciplinary environment. • Lead on discrete development projects and should take complete ownership of technical solution. • Develop accurate level of effort estimates, and manage task schedules. • Excellent communication skills that can be used to effectively communicate technical concepts to business teams. • Understand consumer customer requirements with respect to its impact to the success of the business goal and be able to translate them to a technical implementation. • Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, performance improvements, and better user experiences. • Provide direction and mentoring to junior developers. • Interact well with other technical team leaders such as architects, testing, analysts, and release managers as a lead member of the development team in order to accomplish the business goal. Required Skills: • 5 years of J2EE and Java programming experience • 2 - 4 years of experience in implementing ATG 2007.x based applications using Commerce, Personalization and Scenario servers. • Strong understanding of Java programming best practices • Strong understanding of JSP, AJAX, XML, XSLT and basic UI - Technologies • Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts • Strong object oriented design and design patterns experience • Strong understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies • Experienced with relational database SQL • Strong analytical, problem solving, and production diagnostic skills.
