*Location: Jacksonville, FL* *Duration: 6 Months with Possible extension* Rate Cap: $40 Per Hour All Inclusive * * *Powerbuilder* * * Primarily responsible for the continued development and support of an in-house developed, server based (via RDP) pharmaceutical PowerBuilder application. - Analysis and design based tasks along with code development, report creation/maintenance, unit testing and production implementation. - Understand, analyze and modify the existing source code written in the PowerBuilder application based upon new and updated business rules and requirements. - Document the functionality, processing logic and business rules based on source code analysis and application execution. *Requirements:* - Thorough knowledge and solid working experience developing applications using PowerBuilder (currently using v11.1 and in the process of moving to v12). - Working knowledge of database constructs using MS SQL Server and MS Access. -Working knowledge of .NET framework to support future product enhancements. - Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. - Must be a self-starter with a proficiency to learn quickly. - A detail-oriented person with the ability to think progressively. - 4+ years of experience with the above technologies. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
