*Data Modeler(Profiler) w/Informatica *** *Location : WA Seattle* *Start Date : March 1, 2011* *Duration : End of Jun 2011* * * *The ideal candidate should have worked as a data modeler/profiler using Informatica. Knowledge of Logical and physical data modeling is a must.*** * * * * *Required Skills: * · Excellent understanding of the difference between meta-data and meta-data repositories versus operational data · Excellent Data Profiling experience o Analysis to drive deeper understanding within attributes and in relationships across attributes in the meta-data respository and applications o Validate Logical Data Models relationships and entities o Harvest and document business rules within and across attributes · Proficient at Informatica Analyst and Developer tools o Proficient at setting up Informatica Project environment o Assist analysis function by profiling data attributes as requested, including all associated / related attributes o Determine data linage by including all associated systems in data profile o Design and implement reporting metrics for upward visibility about the quality of the data aligned to Meta-Data Standard and DMBOK for Meta-Data and Reference data where appropriate. · Ability to ensure meta-data in Repository is updated with findings (template population, etc.) · Ability to adhere to Microsoft Meta-Data standards · Must be able to advance multiple, unrelated projects/tasks independently · Excellent communicator – relate prioritized information quickly. Ask for whatever is needed. · Flexibility – Priorities change quickly in this work environment.
