Title: Peoplesoft Business Analyst

Duration: March 14, 2011 – October 31, 2011

Max C2C Pay rate: $45/hr

Location: Sacramento, CA

*Management Support – Business Analyst*

1.       Conduct, gather, develop, and document business and technical
requirements in support of the PeopleSoft HRMS 8.9 upgrade to PeopleSoft HCM
9.1 including the PeopleSoft Time & Labor module.

2.       Develop and manage a requirements traceability document to ensure
all requirements are managed appropriately.

3.       Gather business and technical requirements for Form 700 and ensure
Form 700 is managed as part of this solution.

4.       Gather business and technical requirements regarding Human Resource
and State Controllers Office (SCO) interface requirements to ensure
technical solution includes interface to submit data to SCO automatically.

5.       Work in partnership with Information Technology Services Branch
(ITSB) Technical Manager(s) and technical staff to plan and coordinate
technical requirements, design, development, and implementation of this
upgrade.

6.       Develop test cases and test scripts for Customer Acceptance Testing
and System testing.

7.       Coordinate and oversee Customer Acceptance Testing of the product.
This includes overseeing the planning and coordination of test activities.

8.       Perform system testing including end-to-end testing and document
outcomes.

9.       Ensure upgraded PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 includes appropriate security as
required.

10.   Must train and conduct knowledge transfer to technical developers on
upgrade from PeopleSoft HRMS 8.9 to PeopleSoft HCM 9.1

11.   Must follow ITSB policies and procedures.

12.   Must utilize the ITSB IISD PMO project methodology templates as
needed.

13.   Must have strong interpersonal skills and follow Core Values

14.   ASC: Perform Full customization analysis in support of this upgrade
utilizing automation tools to perform automated customization analysis of
PeopleSoft application from existing version 8.9 to new version of
PeopleSoft HCM 9.1.

Business Analysts:

   1. Must be subject matter expert with PeopleSoft Human Resources version
   8.9 and PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 and have upgrade experience.
   2. Must be subject matter expert with PeopleSoft Time and Labor module.
   3. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
   4. Must be able to work with business partners to elicit and document
   upgrade requirements and business process re-engineering.



Business Analysts:

   - The candidate must have at least five (5) years Systems Analyst
   experience.  The experience must be acquired within the last seven (7)
   years.
   - The candidate must have at least three (3) years’ experience developing
   and/or supporting web applications for Governmental systems.  The experience
   must be acquired within the last five (5) years.
   - The candidate must have at least three (3) years’ experience
   facilitating Joint Application Development sessions.  The experience must be
   acquired within the last five (5) years
   - The candidate must have at least three (3) years Requirements
   Development experience.  The experience must be acquired within the last
   five (5) years.
   - The candidate must have at least three (3) years Use Case Development
   experience.  The experience must be acquired within the last five (5) years
   - It is desirable that the candidate have at least three (3) years
   Requirements Traceability Matrix Development experience.  The experience
   must be acquired within the last five (5) years.
