* * *LOCATION* *BALTIMORE** MD* * * * ** * * * *JOB TITLE: .NET Developer*** * * *Job Description: * Performs analysis, design, development, and unit testing in support of the migration of a critical application from ASP to ASP.NET. Responsible for understanding the needs of the customers and end users that will result in a smooth migration effort. The completion of this collaborative effort will result in an efficient and streamlined processing application and an improved, as well as a fully 508-compliant graphical user interface (GUI). Knowledge and skills in identifying/fixing problems within existing application, designing/implementing new components, and enhancing existing applications. Knowledge and skills in designing and developing applications in accordance with standard lifecycle and development methodologies, as well as Section 508, accessibility, and usability standards. Identifies best practices and provides technical support for project-specific activities throughout all phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Provides recommendations and solutions for complex problems throughout all phases of the SDLC. Performs configuration management, software integration, and interpretation of software test results, as well as recommending solutions for unsatisfactory test results. -Leads and/or directs the efforts of specialists on project(s) across technical areas. -Provides guidance and direction and acts in a consulting and/or advisory capacity. -Directs the development and maintenance of applications, and provide technical guidance for major projects. *REQUIREMENTS* -9+ years IT Software development experience in .NET and .ASP -Demonstrated proficiency in .NET development, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET -Demonstrated proficiency in VBScript, JavaScript, AJAX, and SQL -Demonstrated proficiency in ASP.NET Concepts, Control Proficiency, Page life Cycle, HTTP Handler, HTTP Handler Factory and Http Module Proficiency -Demonstrated proficiency in ADO.NET -Experience in Visual Studio 2005 and 2008 (Microsoft Office integration with Visual Studio) -Experience developing Windows GUI desktop applications -Extensive VBA experience developing and integrating Microsoft Office applications -Experience in SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008, SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) -Experience with XML processing such as XSD, XPath, XSL, XSLT, etc. -Experience in requirements evaluation (translating business requirements into design specifications) -Experience with programming, program debugging, data analysis, problem analysis. -Experience working with deployment scripts – server build, installs, etc. -Experience with SQL, stored procedures, and triggers -Self managed with the ability to coach and mentor others -Actively participates and leads design initiatives, design meetings, architectural review, and code review -Experience re-factoring code, developing standards and mentoring mid and junior level developers -Experience developing applications that are 508-compliant and accessible. -Experience/exposure using such tools as Dragon, JAWS, and MagIC -Experience with MKS and scripting batch files *Education and Certifications: ** *Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. * * Shankar 248-522-6879 Technology consultanst inc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
