Here is the complete job description: Under general supervision, formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyzes and revises existing system logic and documentation as necessary. Competent to work on most phases of applications system analysis activities, but requires instruction and guidance in other phases REQUIRED SKILLS: * Analyze, develop and maintain computer programs, applications, and online systems to satisfy needs of user departments. Define specific system designs and interfaces. Develop policy and procedures pertinent to computer applications within the specialized area. * Develop clear and concise documentation, instruction manuals, and audit trails of program changes in accordance with the departmental and programming standards * Interface with user departments in order to assist them in the determination of information content and systems appropriate to meet their needs. * Design, maintain, and revise key system controls (code tables, master files, screen menus, etc) * Populates databases for which they are the owner during the initial system build, with assistance from Epic staff, and input from each work group * Works with multi departmental users on the sharing of data, category lists, etc * Respond to user and IT management requests for analysis of problem or systems including researching alternatives, identifying potential solutions, defining test criteria, performing system testing, analyzing test results, implementing changes and monitoring post-implementation performance. * Utilizes appropriate methodologies (Excel, Word, Power Point, Lotus Notes) for communication, issue tracking, and system documentation * Thoroughly reviews and tests each new release and communicate needed changes to Epic before users are permitted to access the new release* * Identified as a Clinical Leader, Mentor, or Preceptor by immediate supervisor and peers * Must demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude in actions relating to the Epic Project, Change Management, * Assist in evaluating replacement and new hardware needs for the EMR project BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: * Associate's degree in healthcare, nursing (current Michigan license required) or related field * Must hold current Epic Ambulatory certification * One to three years experience in a leadership role in a clinical health care environment * Minimum 4 years experience in physician practice or ambulatory setting * * * *Submit your resume only to resume (dot) csifl (at) gmail (dot) com** *-- Deb Majumdar IT Recruiter [email protected] * Please discuss the requirement with your consultants and then submit the resume.
