*Job Description : *

We are a SharePoint shop embarking on a major intranet / portal expansion
and migration. We are looking for a self-motivated candidate that is
team-focused with a strong customer service orientation. The candidate must
have strong Portal / SharePoint 2007 skills. Knowledge of: Internet
Explorer, Intranets, MS Vista / Office, Webpage design and components a
major plus. Problem solving and communication skills are a must.



*Personal Skills*

   - Congenial personality with an emphasis on quality customer service
   - Must be able to quickly learn and understand basics of business tools
   and applications
   - Strong critical thinking skills and ability to multitask
   - Ability to work well in a team environment
   - Exceptional communicator

 *Customer Service and Administrative Functions*

   - Resolve user Portal questions (SharePoint) and provide best practice
   solutions
   - Interface with Help Desk, system administrators and content developers
   / providers
   - Maintain and monitor issue logs, feedback lists, mailboxes and reply to
   user inquiries in a timely manner
   - Facilitate user communications including meetings, discussions and
   surveys

 *Portal / SharePoint Functions:*

   - SharePoint and Portal trouble shooter including SharePoint lists /
   libraries and web pages
   - Communicate with technical resources regarding testing, site/page
   builds, and performance issues
   - Communicate with content developers and provider regarding
   management/maintenance of portal content
   - Configure basic SharePoint Web Part attributes and page construction

 *Skills:*

   - 3+ yrs experience with SharePoint 2007
   - Must have strong understanding of Portals, SharePoint and Office
   technologies
   - Congenial communicator with a customer service focus
   - Ability to interact with personnel at all levels
   - Strong multitasking and organizational skills
   - Problem solver

 *Education:*

   - BS is preferred
