*Location:* New York, NY *Duration:* 12 Months Please note that this is a 35 hour work week *Mandatory Requirements:* · *Minimum of 5 years* of experience in designing and implementing high volume multiple database environments · 3 Years experience in design strategies for migration from hierarchical structures to relational databases and integrating those on multiple platforms. *·** **3 Years* experience in design and implementation of data warehousing, data mart activities in a *heterogenous* environment · *Oracle, Oracle data integrator, Unix, Shell scripting on Unix/Linux systems running Solaris (8 through 10)* and *RedHat Linux* · Associate degree from an accredited college in computer science or related field *Desirable Experience:* · Demonstrated experience data modeling using enterprise modeling tools in a 3-tiered data warehousing environment, with the ability to handle multiple data mart development efforts at one time; · developing data warehouse solutions in an Oracle environment; establishing standards and creating technical documentation for a data warehouse; implementing database level security protocols and performing in a technical lead role · Demonstrated experience doing Oracle development and ETL work, including extensive and complex *PL/SQL* and performance tuning (query, procedure, Oracle objects, and ETL tuning) · Demonstrated experience in metadata management techniques using Oracle Warehouse · Builder or similar tools, and working with Business Intelligence reporting tools such as *Cognos 8* or other web-based reporting tools This position requires candidate to design, develop and document enterprise scale Data warehouse using Oracle Data Integrator, PL/SQL, Code and unit test PL/SQL, Shell scripts for extraction, cleansing, transforming and loading data. Create and maintain appropriate documentation. Escalate product issues and suggest product improvements.
