The solution consultant will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems workstations and servers, including web servers and architecture related to hardware equipment. The candidate also will work with partner solution and ensure the integration into datacenter, multi-cluster, multi-tenancy and cloud based configuration. *Requirements:* .A minimum of 5 years VMWare ESX server virtualization experience .A minimum of 5 years experience with Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 in a multi-site enterprise setting .Windows administration experience .Experience with enterprise ticketing solutions (e.g. BMC Remedy) .Experience with formal troubleshooting and root cause analysis techniques * Optional Skills:* . Knowledge of VMware View or other VDI products .Experience with Windows Server OS (i.e. Windows 2003, 2008) .Experience with enterprise backup / restoration solutions .Experience with enterprise monitoring solutions .Scripting skills (i.e. Visual Basic or Powershell) .Experience with networking technologies .Experience with forensic toolsets search tools, archive technologies and collection production tools for technical investigations .Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) credential .VMware Certified Professional (VCP3/4) · Desired experience with DNS, DHCP, WINS, Cluster, IIS, VMWare/ESX · Extensive hardware troubleshooting experience of storage (RAID, FLASH, SCSI, and SATA configurations). *Scope of Work* • vSphere v4.x • Installation and configuration of 4 deployment platforms including standalone datacenter with VMware View, multi-cluster datacenter with SRM and View, multi-tenancy with View, vCloud environment • Provide hardware scoping for each deployment - Patch installation • Troubleshooting hardware and OS • Linux skill set • Optional: Install and configure Dell OpenManage • Optional: Configure server to Boot-from-SAN • Managing ESX farms and resources • Knowledge of Virtual network such as trunking, VLANs, Vmotion, Service Console • Create/deploy/maintain VM templates • Create and maintain documentations for lab configuration -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
