WINDOWS ADMIN Continuously follow new hardware and software releases/upgrades and test the release • Should have an extensive experience in Infrastructure architecture, design and Implementation of Windows 2003/2008, ADS, Solaris 10, SUSE Linux • Extensive knowledge of home grown tool / scripts & open source like Install Pro, Jumpstart to create standard server images for distribution • Familiarity with utilizing methodologies like Bare Metal Restore and Unix FLAR to aid in migration • Should have experience in creating Windows XP/Vista/7 desktop images • Applications (IIS, SQL, Lotus Notes, MS Office, Arcserve, Brightstor, Apache, IPlanet, Weblogic, WebSphere etc.) installation and advanced troubleshooting • Configuring UNIX services (NIS, NFS, Sendmail, BIND, NetID, SSH, FTP etc.) • Familiarity with scripting languages – Korn shell, Perl, CGI • Familiarity with Sun Volume Manager • Installation & configuration of VERITAS Foundation Suite / VERITAS clustering • Familiarity with SunOne ED, LDAP • Expert in Windows AD 2003/2008 Security/Group Policy.
