Title: *Technical Writer* Location: *Troy, MI* Duration: *12 Months* - Minimum of two years experience in training environment, automotive manufacturing tooling, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic experience. - Ability to develop and deliver training related to Die Hemming technologies. - Ability to write training programs, including outline, text, handouts, and tests, and designing laboratory exercises. - Technical areas of expertise include: installation, safety, controls (programming), preventative and routine maintenance, as well as repair of machinery/equipment for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems for automotive assembly tooling. - Knowledge of automated welding technologies. - Good interpersonal skills, problem solving and front-end analysis skills are essential to obtain information in meetings with subject matter experts, seminars, and training sessions and integration of feedback into a training maintenance process. - Excellent presentation competencies preferred. - Familiarity with global automotive manufacturing standards a plus. - Strong Microsoft office skills. - Spanish speaking skills preferred. - Ability to travel (internationally) 50% of time. - Successfully meet corporate background investigation.
