*Position*: Developer Expert / Lead - C#/ASP.NET with some Java Experience *Location*: NYC *Duration*: 1 Year *Job Description: * Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy versus build recommendations. Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies. Required Skills: Requires mastery technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes. Typically possesses 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience. • Strong leadership, multi tasking and collaboration skills • Strong verbal and written skills • Ability to assess benefit versus risk of implementing technologies • Ability to think creatively, strategically and act tactically • Take ownership, self-starter, and drives to completion • Consulting skills such as interviewing stakeholders, conducting code reviews, and consensus building among team members • Professional experience with n-tier application architectures development • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with ability to function at both the detail and conceptual levels • Knowledge of Data Modeling, Data Integration • Experience designing, implementing and supporting solutions using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS), Microsoft SharePoint 2010, and Windows SharePoint Services technology platforms (including the BI components of SharePoint). • Experience with integrating SharePoint with related technologies • Additional technical qualifications include hands-on experience in several of the following products or technologies:.NET Development Platform (Visual Studio, .Net Framework), C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, WinForms, Databases, Transact-SQL, XML, Soap, Web Services, agile development methodologies, SQL Server Critical Skills: C#, ASP.NET, Sharepoint, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server Preferred Skills: Java Spring, Java J2EE, Java Swing, Oracle Database Education/Certifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience.
