Biztalk Admin Minneapolis, MN 6 Months Responsibilities . Participates in the design, construction, installation and troubleshooting of servers hosting Windows 2K3 and BizTalk 2K6 R2 systems to meet the functional objectives of the business. . Participate in the design and planning of the BizTalk infrastructure changes. . Participate in capacity and resource design, assessing environmental risks and contingency support. . Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of OS and BizTalk management software; researching, analyzing and implementing software patches or hardware changes to fix any system deficiencies. . Participate in Level 2 on-call support. . Develops and/or revises design documentation. . Uses hardware and system software resources, and conforms to appropriate standards. . Performs other related duties as assigned. . Perform routine maintenance such as security patches, service account password changes, service installation, etc. Qualifications . Considerable knowledge and experience of BizTalk 2006 R2 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. . Considerable knowledge and experience of BizTalk internal functions i.e. orchestrations, send ports, tracking, etc. . Strong knowledge of BizTalk architecture including BizTalk database backend support . Skill in design and implementation of BizTalk disaster recovery methods . Considerable knowledge of Quality/Continuous Improvement . Considerable knowledge of Infrastructure/Connectivity . Considerable knowledge of LAN Design, Implementation & Maintenance Skill in analysis and problem solving . Skill in Documentation . Skill in Troubleshooting/Diagnostics . Skill in software installation & maintenance . Skill in product administration & infrastructure support . Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing . Ability to analyze information and formulate conclusions and recommendations . Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public . Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adjust easily to changing priorities. . Ability to work with people who may not be familiar with BizTalk. . Understanding and translating BizTalk server error messages. . An understanding of IIS 6 and IIS7. Work Experience Guidelines 5 or more years of IT work experience in BizTalk infrastructure/network environment implementation, administration and support. Education Guidelines Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline or Associates degree with 8 or more years equivalent work experience. Certificate for BizTalk 2006 R2 Administration or be able to demonstrate administrative capabilities.
