Job Description : Business/Operational Analyst

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Herndon, VA

Rate: 60/HR



We do not want to see a Technical (c++) type person but more of an
operations Analyst. Someone who has a better understanding of the business
side of things. This person will be interacting with the vendors and
customers often so communication skills are a must. They must have a strong
understanding of mortgage and an ideal candidate would have worked in a
mortgage institution prior. A previous knowledge of MISMO is a huge plus.



*Key Job Functions:

-Responsible for lender and vendor outreach, engagement and support of new
initiatives.

-Guidance to new or existing lenders/vendors supporting either the
2000-Character Loan Delivery text file format or the new MISMO XML file
format.

-Direct lender and vendor point-of-contact for questions for new initiative
implementations.

-Technical guidance for transitioning from ASCII based file format to XML
file format

-Create vendor/lender-specific communications that directly engage them on
system updates, deadlines, and important vendor-specific information.

-Maintain a tracking inventory of lender/vendor implementation dates to be
able to communicate those to lenders/vendors as needed, and inform our
internal teams of the vendor and lender status.

-Organize calls with select lender/vendors to understand their
implementation progress, whether they are missing key elements to fully
transition (testing tools, support materials, etc.) and answer any questions
they have.

-Support testing efforts.

-Oversee the project management of assigned new initiative deliverables to
ensure objectives and deadlines are met. Track project management plans.
Resolve issues. Manage timely and effective product delivery and deployment.


-Establish, maintain, and adhere to appropriate compliance and controls
related to product development.

-Design and develop marketing initiatives, promotions, and communications
related to specific products, product lines, or product areas.

-Provide general communications and training services such as general
writing support for internal and external business communications including
product documentation, FAQs, reference materials, training materials, e-mail
messages, release notices, announcements, and talking points/PowerPoint
presentations.

-Conduct face-to-face or web-based training sessions. Prepare and deliver
custom training and recording presentations as needed.

Requirements:
-FNM and Financial Industry experience desired
-Knowledge of the MISMO® XML architecture
-Strong analytical skills
-Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, document implementation plans
and support
-Ability to work under aggressive deadlines
-Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal) with
the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies
-Strong influencing, strategic thinking, and consulting skills
-Strong project management and organizational skills
-Expert proficiency in Microsoft products.
-Ability to manage multiple projects.*
