Job Title: ETL/BI Developer Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: 6 month to Contract To Hire Interview: Phone and Face to Face. Need EAD, GC and USC Only. 3 main skill sets...Data Analysis, SSIS (ETL), SSRS (reporting) SSAS and SQL 2008 are a MUST HAVE!** The reason for hiring this position is that they will be publishing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports moving forward. This person is going to be the ETL and Reporting on Microsoft 2008. They are working with Microsoft 2008 as a repository and MS SQL 2005/2008 at sources...they could also have access or excel as sources too. They will be creating in the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports working closely with compliance and finance for the requirements of the reports. They will create the reports in SSRS and publish them on a simple .NET repository for the end users to access. Eventually, this reporting will be integrated with SharePoint. The reporting repository database DOES not exist yet, and the manager will help this person build that repository. The person needs decent or better communication skills as they will be interacting with Finance and Compliance. Mortgage experience is not necessary, but I think it will be the closer. What language is this application written in? Is this Front-End or Back-End work? What versions are necessary? Additional tools? - ETL will be in SSIS. Reporting in SSRS. Publishing will be .net What does the application do? Who uses it? Why? -This person will be responsible for doing both schedules and Ad Hoc reporting At what stage is this application in? Is this new, or is it an existing app.? Is this home-grown or making modifications to a '3rd party' app? - This is a new position for Prospect, so nothing is in place yet. This person will work closely with Business Units to create this reporting service. *Is this a Web-Based or Client Server app?-* This will be SQL Server 2008 based, with .Net to publish the reports. This person does not need to know .NET.
