*Location:* Minneapolis ,MN** *Duration:* 10-11 Months.** Client Information Technology team has a senior-level opening to maintain & Administer Sun Solaris & Red Hat Linux operating system instances. *Responsibilities include: * · Provide 24 by 7 on-call administration & support for Solaris & Red Hat Linux. Work with business areas & IT developers to troubleshoot & resolve daytime & after-hours support issues in a timely manner as described in IT & business area service level agreements. Facilitate & implement environmental & application changes according to local & national processes & procedures. · Implement & maintain Sun Solaris & Red Hat Linux operation system instances. Assist in the design of security & integrity controls. Design & analyze distributed computing policies, procedures, & standards. · Provide consultation to local lines of business & assist them with information technology decisions & implementations. · Evaluate & research new information technologies &, when appropriate, recommend the implementation of new technologies to management. · Work with local & national lines of business to research, implement, & support information technology solutions. Develop & maintains project documentation. · Create & update written documentation according to Federal Reserve project & information security standards.
