Hi everyone, Please let me know if you have any qualified candidates for this Sharepoint Developer position, thanks! *Sharepoint Developer* 4333 Amon Carter Blvd. Fort Worth, TX 76155 (just south of DFW International) *$42-45/hr (we checked with Client this morning and $45/hr is the absolute max! )* 3-6 month contract SUMMARY: This position will provide performance analysis and tuning on an existing Sharepoint site servicing enterprise needs. Additionally, opportunities exist to automate current processes using SharePoint workflows and automate reporting of those processes. This candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication as well as the ability to understand business requirements. Knowledge of Workflow Foundation (WF) is a must. A thorough understanding of SharePoint Object Model and SharePoint Features also needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • The SharePoint developer is responsible for providing SharePoint design work, custom development, documentation and best practices consulting. This will include consulting with Service delivery personnel to identify and implement SharePoint requirements. • Implementing high quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solutions • Awareness of migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs. • Design and implement development workflow • Testing and implementing solutions in a SharePoint environment. • Unit testing for all assigned deliverables. • Will work from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment and administration. • Deliver based on technology roadmap defined by architecture. • Analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement and create specifications and implement. QUALIFICATIONS: • 5+ years of experience as a Microsoft .NET developer • 3+ years of SharePoint development experience • Experience in building Collaboration solutions using Microsoft SharePoint Server (MOSS). • Strong experience in Designing, developing and deploying SharePoint workflow solutions using Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) • A thorough understanding of SharePoint Object Model and SharePoint Features • A thorough knowledge of designing, developing and deploying custom web parts and User Controls. • Extensive experience with development of web based applications using .Net Framework, C#.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET and AJAX • Must be proficient in writing SQL Queries, Stored Procedures using T-SQL • Extensive experience in XML and related technologies (XSLT, XPATH etc.). • Experience in creating design documents using UML. • Experience in implementing Form Services • Working knowledge of SQL Server 2005/2008 • Knowledge of Records Management and Excel Services in SharePoint. • Knowledge of Active Directory, Kerberos and LDAP.
