This role requires an experienced data architect with a minimum of 10 years
Business Intelligence experience, must have data warehouse architecture and
modeling experience with P&C Insurance, should also have design experience,
communication skills, and work well in a team environment. Knowledge of ETL
tools such as Informatica; database environments (Oracle, DB2); and
reporting tools such as Business Objects and SAS is a plus. Experience with
data archiving experience would be a plus.

This is a senior position that requires candidates to direct/lead modeling
staff in the creation of comprehensive BI models supporting all P&C business
functions. Candidate should be able to quickly understand existing
application architectures and American Family standards.

1. Knowledge and experience in development of data warehouse architecture
for large volume analytic solutions.

2. Experience in designing data models to support reporting and analysis.
Knowledge of industry accepted design techniquesincluding star and snowflake
schemas.

3. Experience in providing technical leadership to project team members.

4. Knowledge and development experience with one or more ETL tools such as
Informatica.

5. Database development experience in one or more market-leading database
environments such as Oracle, DB2.

6. Knowledge and experience with OLAP and reporting tools such as Business
Objects, SAS, and Essbase utilizing both relational and multidimensional
tool architectures.

7. Coordinate structure changes with common XML integration model

8. Collaborates with technical advisor and strategic architect on project
deliverables and timelines

9. Strong experience using enterprise modeling tool such as ERWin

10. Strong knowledge in XML schema definition

11. Excellent presentation and management communication skills

12. Strong collaboration skills with both business and IT teams

13. Very strong overall technical skills

14. Strong knowledge of relational concepts

15. Strong verbal and written communication skills a must

16. Experience developing BI solutions for the P&C Insurance Industry

17. Strong analytical and SQL skills
