Will hire off the phone. * *Description* The Technical Lead is responsible for designing, implementing and supporting the application software components and technologies within the overall software solution. This includes providing insight and guidance on overall system design, as well as working with the development team and infrastructure providing technical direction and solving complex technical and application software issues. The technical lead is responsible for working with project leadership to set standards and execute development practices including code management, deployment, development, test and production environment management. This position requires someone who is hands-on with recent implementation experience with Oracle application development and business intelligence tools and technologies from both the application development and infrastructure perspective. * * * * *Specific Deliverables:* * * Definition of logical and physical business intelligence architecture design o Databases, warehouses, marts o Data source integration o Technology architecture o Technology infrastructure Assist in setup and configuration of tools and technologies across dev, test and production environments Working with team to develop detailed component designs and standards Significant contribution to project plans, tasks and staffing, and team leadership Tracking and status of issues, scope and execution *Experience Required:* - At least 2 years recent experience as a Project/Technical Lead a must At least 4 years of specialized experience in the design and implementation of reporting solutions with Oracle OBIEE technologies, with a high degree of maturity setting up and maintaining Oracle products on various platforms. At least 3 years recent experience in implementing web based BI solutions for internet, extranet and intranet Experience in database and warehouse design and implementation and related oracle technologies Experience in designing and implementing infrastructure to support development and production of applications using oracle data, OBIEE and related business intelligence technologies Experience in ETL technologies including Oracle ODI a plus Experience in designing and implementing solutions in a highly available clustered environment. Experience in related oracle technologies in a Linux environment Experience designing and developing public facing business intelligence sites, including portals, dashboards, basic reports (charts, graphs, maps, drill downs) and advanced reports (ad-hoc reporting). Experience in web technologies including weblogic web and application servers Experience in javascript and java technologies a significant plus Experience in developing map based reports with OBIEE and Oracle map viewer a plus Experience in multi-dimensional databases including Oracle Essbase a plus Proven effective execution experience in high visibility, high criticality programs with multiple stakeholders both within and outside of the client organization State and or federal government experience helpful, but not mandatory *Skills Required:* Design, implement, and support business intelligence and application solution using Oracle database, OBIEE and related products Design and implementation of infrastructure to support applications, including implementation and management of development, test and production environments. Contribution to the infrastructure architecture and application of technologies within infrastructure Contribution to the design and implementation of the OBIEE business intelligence solution. Excellent problem solver with the ability to keep many driving factors and requirements in focus Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Ability to understand and be the go to person for the big picture and direction as well as maintaining a good grasp in understanding the detailed requirements and nuances of the solution.
