Sr. Project Manager – 3 month contract – max all inclusive rate of $35/hr. Buffalo, NY Please note that we are looking for individuals who have successfully managed medium-to-large technology projects end-to-end using industry standard Project Management methodologies. What we are not looking for are individuals whose sole related experience is akin to technology team leaders (i.e., managers of development or similar technical teams, etc.). ----------Base Qualifications---------- - Bachelors Degree - 10 years experience in project related work/systems analysis/systems development environment or equivalent combination - Ideal Qualification - Masters Degree ----------Technical Skills---------- - Proficient in project management/word processing/spreadsheet/other office applications - Familiar with application software/hardware platforms - Project/Metrics planning & tracking ----------Responsibilities----------- - Project Management Planning/Scheduling, Issue Management & Resolution/Risk Management & Mitigation/Resource Management/Relationship Management - Budget development/management - Scope Management/Change Management/Requirements Management - Experience on large scope/dollar projects/programs - Understanding of project life cycle methodology - Understand role of business units/how they fit into the organization - Excellent problem solving skills to assist in detecting issues/potential risks. Must be able to work effectively with clients/IT management/staff - Strong judgment/excellent decision-making skills.
