DIRECT CLIENT REQCONTRACT POSITION NEW YORK, NY (LOCALS OR NEAR BY) Senior Oracle Pl/SQL Specialist Client is looking to hire a senior level PL/SQL engineer for its high-performing development team, working on cutting-edge .Net and Mobile technologies. Successful candidates will be involved in several facets of the project including but not limited to: high/low level design of PL/SQL code; developing, testing, supporting PL/SQL code; as well as gathering, defining and documenting requirements.
Requirements: Minimum of 10 years Oracle PL/SQL design and development experience in SQL tuning of medium/large database environments including optimizer hints and denormalization. Knowledge of advanced PL/SQL techniques in Oracle 10g Define and document development methodologies, standards and best practices for the team. Proven experience in implementing code that performs well in a high volume OLTP Database environment Ability to assimilate existing code quickly and make improvement recommendations Ability to multi-task and provide technical support to other developers. Work with DBA team for advanced tuning and programming techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
