Duration: six months Location: Columbus, OH Role: Java Developer III * * *Short Project Description:* Employer Resource Information Center (ERIC) is a web based application that will replace the legacy Employment Security Tax Accounting System (ESTAS). ERIC will improve business processes within the Bureau of Unemployment Compensation Tax and provide Ohio employers and third party administrators the ability to do business with the Office of Unemployment Compensation through the internet. *Job Description:* - Participates as a member of development team for more than one team; - Develops core re-usable components. - Provide help to analyze the business issues and provide solutions. - Provide effort estimation for task / module development. - Should be able design moderate to complex solutions. - Help other team members and review the code. May lead and provide mentoring and guidance to less senior developers. - Design, develop and unit test the code. - Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to maintain one or more technology areas - Applies HP and 3rd party technologies to complex software solutions of moderate complexity. - Independently implements end-user or enterprise solutions complexity or services prepared by more senior technologists for more complex solutions. - Plan and assign the daily work to the team members and track the progress. *Skills Required**:* - 6+ years experience in software development and writing code. - 4+ years of experience with implementing mid to large-scale Java applications in Java/JEE with WebSphere Application Server. - Proficiency of web application development, familiar with JSF, Websphere Portal, JSP/Servlet, EJB, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, JAAS. - Proficiency of OOA/OOD, familiar with UML and XML. - In-depth understanding of Design Patterns, software design and development methodologies and Industry best practices. - Experience with Websphere Portal Server is a big plus. - 2+ years of experience in SQL, PL/SQL programming. - Understanding of build, release and configuration methods. - Knowledge of testing tools, unit test and integration test scripting, and testing methodologies. - Knowledge in defining quality standards. - Good verbal and written communication and negotiation skills. - Good client and vendor management skills. *Qualifications* - Bachelors Degree and 6 Years of experience OR Masters with minimum of 4 Yrs of experience -- Regards, Shankar 248-522-6879 Technology consultanst inc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
