DIRECT CLIENT REQ CONTRACT Position NY, NY
.NET developer position job specification Must Haves:- Very strong .NET development experience, 5 years of .NET (C#) minimum with 8+ years of overall software development experience. Candidate should have exposure to the .NET 4.0 framework- Vast experience developing web-based User Interfaces (UIs) in .NET including the use of AJAX, along with HTML, CSS and JavaScript- Hands-on with web services including Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and designing WSDL's- Very strong SQL skills, ideally with hands-on experience developing stored procedures and triggers. Oracle experience preferred but not necessary- Very good business understanding - we always look for developers who can understand the business side of the process as well as the tech side- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Strongly preferred:- Some exposure to VB.NET - the ability to read and modify existing code. This position won't require ground-up VB.NET development but we support existing VB.NET applications- Some architecture experience with web-based .NET systems - Comfortable in a team lead position, mentoring developers, conducting code reviews and guiding development principles Nice to Haves:- Java experience.
