Job Title : Java/J2EE Developer Location : San Jose, CA Duration : 8+Months Job Description Position Summary As a member of the Order to Cash organization, the senior engineer will help in design and implement Client’s serialization and web based customer product registration database. Responsibilities • Define and evolve the next generation server architecture and application framework. • Articulate a coherent and compelling service oriented architecture for complex serialization and customer product registration application. • Collaborate with other architects, product management and engineering teams to achieve a consistent architecture across the entire IT. • Provide technical specifications, prototypes, white papers, and presentations to communicate your ideas. • Understand the long-term business strategy and align the technical roadmap to meet those objectives. • Work with peers to collaborate on data integrations across enterprise applications. • Stay abreast of emerging industry technologies and trends. Communicate that knowledge to the team and use it to influence application and SOA direction. • Work hands-on delivering software components for the service. • Actively drive the Agile development process throughout development cycle. Requirements • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent four year degree; • 8+ years of software development experience. • Proven experience developing Enterprise-scale web platforms, Java/ J2EE applications and development strategies • Extensive XML/Web/Java/J2EE experience with a deep understanding of end-to-end n-tier enterprise software architectures. • Experience in Service oriented Architecture is highly desired. • Strong insight into general software industry trends and how they might be applied to Adobe's offering. • Hands on experience with a wide range of server-side Java/J2EE technologies including EJB, JSP, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, Servlets, XML, SOAP, web services and Hibernate. • Experience with database, data modeling and data integration technologies. • Experience with a number of application servers and databases including JBoss, Oracle. • Experience with Agile development using Scrum and continuous build. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Comfortable communicating with all levels of management and customers. • Highly motivated and a self starter. • Ability to think creatively and abstractly along with the ability to be pragmatic and compromise. • Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills.
