Looking for resource to manage day to day activity for 60 days: -DMX, NS480,
Brocade, ESX
Ability to make performance recommendations, Performance Manager
with ECC, strong Celerra skills
including IP Replicator.
Additional details on scope:
1 Want someone who can work on his own
2 ESX knowledge
a. Don't necessarily need ESX expert, but at least someone who knows
the process from the ESX
side on adding storage-candidate did not know the
rescan step, etc. (this applies to AIX and Windows as
well)
3 Symcli knowledge for DMX is better than GUI
4 Needs Symmetrix Performance Analyzer knowledge and Navi Analyzer-be
able to read and
understand what the data is saying at a high level-not just
how to turn it on
5 FAST VP for Clariion/NS would be nice-they purchased the software
but are not using it
6 RecoverPoint setup (not just admin) would be nice
7 ProBuild will have to move ECC Master server to Cornell datacenter,
needs ECC experience on
standing up a new master server and populating with current arrays
to monitor
